We did not stay here, because of the very expensive rates. We stopped at the office; discovered the rates; drove through the park; and departed. The campground was recently renovated completely, and it appears that they are trying to recoup their investment in one season. Their waterfront sites are $109/night, recently reduced from $149/night. They also have 'cheap' sites at $49/night. However, those 'cheap' sites are almost on the highway that goes into Mt. Desert Island; therefore very noisy with all the traffic. The grass needed obvious mowing. Even some of the expensive water front sites had very high grass. One would think that at over $100/night would get one a paved site, a paved patio, and free WiFi, but at Narrows Too, one gets none of the above. There are much more affordable campgrounds in the Ellsworth/Bar Harbor area.

The good news: campground is quiet as it is well off US 1. It is located very close to Ellsworth, and fairly close to Mt. Desert Island, and Bar Harbor. Voltage & water pressure were good. Most sites are long and wide. The family running the campground is friendly. Compared to other campgrounds in the area, it is a good value. The bad news: sites are not very level, with many sites having a distinct slope at the front. Dumpsters are allowed to overflow for days at a time. Interior roads are full of potholes. WiFi, while free, is very slow, with many outages. No cable, and satellite reception is iffy. We would return.

This is definitely NOT a resort. It is a basic campground. We stopped because they advertised a pool and hot tub. While we were looking at sites, we saw very green pool water. Seems that they had an algae bloom, and the pool was going to be closed for a week, which did not make our kids very happy, so we decided to head up to Bar Harbor. Some sites looked OK, but the campground needs a lot of TLC. Many sites were not even close to level. Tried talking to a couple of people with STAFF shirts, but they were both smoking so much that we had to just walk away. We would not return. It's really too bad, because it's such a wonderful area in Maine.

Nightly rate reflects 2 weekday nights at $45/night, and 2 weekend nights at $55/night. Nice park, but not really worth the rate, but it's the closest big-rig park to family in the area. The sites are long & wide, but the turn-in's to the narrow black-top pad are very tight. However, once on the black-top, there is plenty of grass area between sites. We had a great, clear view of a small lake, to our front. But, the series of small lakes attracts Canadian Geese. We always pick-up after our dog, but it truly seemed useless, since there are geese droppings all over the campground. Be sure to carefully watch your step. Bus service is available to the close-by Turning Stone Casino. Expect to hear some train noise.

Easy access to I-81, just NE of Harrisburg, PA, with some interstate noise. Mostly gravel, reasonably long & wide sites. Good voltage and good water pressure, however, some sites share water access with an adjacent site via y-valve. Friendly owners & staff. Nice campground store, with Hershey's ice cream, and fresh, on-site made, donuts. Lots of trees, so satellite reception can be iffy. Definitely would return.

Very friendly staff, and very friendly campers. Narrow sites; could not extend awnings with adjacent rv's slides out. Lots of tight turns on narrow interior roads.

Very convenient to exit 53 on I-65 in KY. Level, reasonably wide, sites with good voltage and water pressure. Friendly owner. Train tracks are very close to campground, and lots of trains during the day & night. Would return for an overnight stay.

Being "on-property" at Walt Disney World is worth a lot. Ft. Wilderness is so convenient to all of Disney's theme parks; and, Magic Kingdom is just a short boat ride away from the Settlement. The campground is as old as WDW, 35 years. And, there has not been much improvement for RV's, as they continue to get bigger, with more slide-outs. However, we manage to get our 45' motor home, with some tight maneuvering, into some very nice sites. We return at least twice a year; not just for the campground, but for WDW itself. The staff, or cast members, at Ft. Wilderness have been just super in helping us to get 'just the right' site. Mickey has had us hooked since Walt's Sunday night TV show. We'll continue to go back, since we're just 'kids at heart. Forget the hassles at check-in, Ft. Wilderness is just part of the wonderful Disney experience. And, if you haven't been to SOARIN' at Epcot, you haven't been to WDW. Why a 8, and not a 10? We keep waiting for Disney's Global Management to realize that they really MUST improve Ft. Wilderness. The Loop roads really are much too narrow, and there are too many obstacles very close to the sites. Pets are restricted to a certain few loops, and an additional fee per day is charged per pet.

Looking for a great campground in the Atlanta area? or looking to get away from the Atlanta traffic? Harvest Moon RV Park has both. We’ve checked all of the RV parks around Atlanta, as we still have our medical providers in Atlanta, after going ‘full-time’ almost two years ago. Harvest Moon is 55 miles from Buckhead, while other parks are 30 to 35 miles; however, the extra distance is well worth the few extra miles. The park now has 28 new, long, sites; ours was 130’ long, with four sewer drops, and two electric boxes. Other new sites are over 80’, with most having at least two sewer drops. Voltage is great, as is water pressure; and free WiFi is an added bonus. Wonderful management, and everyone working at the park is very helpful and friendly. Actually, everyone we met at the campground was great. Very easy access from I-75. Restaurants close by, as well as a grocery store and a clean Quik Trip truck stop. Harvest Moon is equal-distant from the Chattanooga Aquarium and the new Atlanta Aquarium. Compare the fish; you’ll like both aquariums. Compare campgrounds around Atlanta; you’ll like Harvest Moon.

Very nice campground, about 1.5 miles north of I-90, and about 35 miles east of the Corn Palace & Cabela's in Mitchell, SD. Camp America has level sites, good power & water pressure, and is much nicer than the campgrounds in Mitchell. Owner/operators are very helpful and friendly. Pull-throughs are long enough for a big-rig with tow attached.

Very convenient I-84 access, with obvious interstate noise. The campground is on the Snake River, with nature trails. Check-in is at an adjacent convenience store, with friendly, helpful employees. The campground was not very busy the night of our stop, and we were afforded an empty site on each side of us; could be a little tight if the campground was close to full. Grassy sites were level, and voltage and water pressure were good. We would return.

What a great place to stay! The RV Park is less than a half mile to downtown West Yellowstone, MT, with its great shops, wonderful people, and super restaurants. The town even has an IMAX Theater. The west entrance to Yellowstone National Park is less than a mile from the campground, where it is very easy to spend days, weeks, or months exploring. Long, wide sites, with great voltage, great water pressure, a very clean park, and absolutely wonderful views of the Rocky Mountains await you at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park. Mark & Brenda run a first class operation. All of the employees were very friendly, efficient, and helpful; they have great recommendations for things to do, sites to see, and places to eat. Newly installed WiFi was a welcome addition.

Wide streets lead to very long & wide paved sites, with good voltage & good water pressure. Excellent cable, however, lots of pine trees, therefore satellite reception is iffy. Newly installed WiFi is a nice touch. Very friendly, helpful, and efficient employees. You are escorted to your assigned site, and given as much or as little help, as you might need getting into the site. The entire RV resort is exceptionally clean, and the landscaping is beautiful. Trash cans provided at each site. Grocery store & WalMart a couple of miles away; and downtown Bend about six miles, with lots of good restaurants. Nice, clean hot tub, however no pool. Wine & cheese reception on Friday evenings.

Campground is under construction. The sites are big enough to keep a tow car hooked-up, with a big rig, and are fairly wide; loose packed gravel for your rv and concrete patios. Easy I-84 access, just past a FlyingJ. Grocery store is about 3 miles away, while a Super Walmart is about 5 miles. WiFi is pricy at $4/day. Under construction price at $28/day is very expensive, and is only $3/day less than their published rates.

Pull throughs are long enough to keep your tow hooked-up, even with a big rig. Super sites appear shorter than regular sites. Good roads inside campground, although a lots of turns. However, the approach road to the campground, off the interstate, was full of pot-holes. Very helpful, friendly, and young staff. Good voltage & water pressure. Trees were trimmed and did NOT have any problems with low hanging branches. Stayed only one night, on the way to Yellowstone, but would plan to stay longer on next trip.

Very friendly and helpful owner and staff. Campground is in a valley about 19 miles from Mt. Rushmore and south of Rapid City. Cell phone service is almost non-existent until going about a mile in either direction, after cresting a hill. Sites have sheltered patios. We were allowed to park our tow car in an empty site next to us; as there is not room for a big rig and a tow vehicle on a site.

Campground is just south of Sioux Falls, a mile drive on a dirt road, parallel to I-29. Lots of trees for shade, but cannot receive satellite in most sites. 30 amp only, however good voltage. Good water pressure also.

Easy interstate access, just south of Louisville. They do not take reservations; you just pull-in, find a site, and someone comes to collect camping fees around 6pm. Sites are gravel and level, however would be very tight if two adjacent RV's had big, deep slides.

Alsolutely the nicest, cleanest place to stay with an RV in the Keys. Bluewater Key RV Resort is definitely NOT a campground; it truly is a Resort; all sites are individually owned, gated community. The sites are long & wide enough for the largest of RV's with multiple slides. Most sites have Tiki Huts with wet bars. Patio areas are paved, but only a few sites have paved areas for RV's; just crushed gravel. The resort is only 10 miles from the entrance to Key West. Downsides?? the closest restaurants are about three miles away; the closest supermarket is over 12 miles away; there is no common area to enjoy the ocean; if you do not have a water front site, you only get small views of the Atlantic between actual water front sites. Very pricey nightly rental rates, and very, very pricey purchase prices. However, land is scarce in the Keys, and it is very nice to be able to drive an RV to an island resort.

The campground itself was super: sites big enough for the biggest of rigs; good voltage; good water pressure; and the campground was very clean. The campground is in a great area, with lots of things to do, and good restaurants abound. However, the Gestapo tactics used by the "greeting guards" was terrible. We and our family in another motor home, were verbally abused a number of times. We were threatened with eviction for not having our parking pass on the rearview mirror. Our parking pass was in clear view on the dash, because the pass, hanging from the mirror, obstructs vision. The 'guard' said that we would have to do exactly what he said, or else. The 'else' to us is that we won't return. It's really too bad because we really like the area and the park.

Campground is near beautiful Callaway Gardens. Good power and water pressure. Very tight turn from highway into campground, and interior roads are very narrow. Premium sites, with concrete patio, and 50 amp are very close to each other.

Campground is in the North Georgia mountains with wonderful scenery. Some sites have plenty of room for big rigs; some sites are very short; and in some sites, the back of your RV hangs over the sites below.

Yes, the campground setting along the river is very picturesque, and there is plenty of room between sites. However, the sites are not at all level, and the power is grossly under voltage. With no load, except for our refrigerator & 5 amps set on the battery charger, we were reading 104 volts; turned on the coffee maker and our low voltage (102 volts) protection shut off the power. Park management said that they knew they had a voltage problem in the area where we were camped, but that the State of Georgia would not provide the funds to fix the problem; and the park was full, so we could not move to another area. We were also told that we could NOT run our generator, even during the day. The campground would be just fine for pop-ups or small travel trailers, however, we'll never go back with our motor home.

Lots of really nice people staying in the campground while we were there. It's a good thing that the people were nice, as the sites are VERY close together. In some of the sites, adjacent RV's slides overlap. The on site restaurant was good. The closest supermarket is over 25 miles away. Land in the Keys is very precious, but the closeness of the sites makes Fiesta Key OK for short, non-slide RV's.
